Welcome to Kimura Shukokai Karate Surrey
We teach the art of Karate to students of all ages and abilities in a safe, supportive environment. Our highly experienced instructors focus on proper technique, discipline, and personal growth.
We enjoy teaching the art of Karate whilst providing regular grading examinations to make sure you're progressing at a pace you're happy with.
All instructors are fully DBS checked as well as insured for peace of mind. There is always someone first-aid trained on site.

Do I need previous experience to join?
No previous experience is required. Our classes are designed to accommodate beginners and we provide step-by-step instruction for all new students.
What age groups do you teach?
We offer classes for all ages. Our Junior Class is specifically designed for younger students, while our Weekday and Weekend classes accommodate teens and adults.
What should I wear to my first class?
For your first few classes, comfortable sports clothing is fine. If you decide to continue, we'll provide information about purchasing a proper karate gi (uniform).
How often should I attend classes?
We recommend attending at least once per week for consistent progress. Many of our students attend multiple classes per week to accelerate their development.
